The History of Computer Kids

In 1994, Bob Gits established GitsSmart Inc. to provide a high quality technology education program for Preschool and Kindergarten aged children.  It became evident to him that parents desired more from their childcare centers in regards to computer education. 

In 2007, Jackie Eimers, now the owner of Computer Kids, began teaching for GitsSmart.  Throughout Jackie's  time with GitsSmart the curriculum changed along with the technology, but one thing that will always remain the same is the small class atmosphere. The objective of this program is for kids to have hands on experience with computers.

In 2018, after teaching GitsSmart computer classes for eleven years, Jackie purchased GitsSmart. When Jackie purchased GitsSmart, she decided to change the name to Computer Kids. Computer Kids will continue with the same concept as GitsSmart. This is a program that fits so well with the preschools. Jackie hopes to continue the success of this company for many years to come.
